Câmara aprova doação do edifício das Nações, em João Pessoa; local vai virar condomínio residencial
CCJ da Câmara já havia aprovado a Medida Provisória da Prefeitura nessa segunda-feira. Prédio será doado ao Fundo de Arrendamento Residencial.
O Plenário da aprovou, nesta terça-feira (27), a doação do prédio das Nações Unidas, no Centro da Capital. O local vai ser transformado em um condomínio residencial. A ação faz parte do planejamento de revitalização e ocupação do Centro de João Pessoa.
A com a aprovação, a Prefeitura fica autorizada a doar o prédio ao Fundo de Arrendamento Residencial (FAR). O FAR é administrado pela Caixa Econômica Federal. O local vai abrigar unidades habitacionais do programa Minha Casa, Minha Vida.
O edifício das Nações Unidas fica na Praça Vidal de Negreiros, na esquina com a Avenida Padre Meira. A Medida Provisória que autoriza a doação do terreno já havia sido aprovada pela Comissão de Constituição e Justiça da Câmara
