Ministro Alexandre de Moraes discursa contra ‘extremistas e milícias digitais’ e defende Judiciário
O presidente do Tribunal Superior Eleitoral (TSE), o ministro Alexandre de Moraes, discursou durante as diplomações dos presidente e vice-presidente eleitos nas Eleições 2022. Durante sua fala, ele criticou “grupos extremistas” que tentaram colocar em cheque o “estado de direito” no Brasil.
O evento ocorreu no prédio do TSE, em Brasília, nesta segunda-feira (12). Durante sua fala, Moraes ressaltou o trabalho do Judiciário nessas eleições, em especial na manutenção do “estado de direito”, no combate às fake news e na liberdade de imprensa.
“A Justiça Eleitoral se preparou para combater com eficácia e celeridade os ataques antidemocráticos ao estado de direito e os covardes ataques e violências pessoas aos seus membros e de todo poder judiciário”, disse. “A Justiça Eleitoral soube, com apoio de Poder Judiciário, garantir estabilidade democrática”
“Os extremistas, criminosos, milícias digitais começaram a atacar a mídia tradicional, para substituir livre debate por mentiras. Coube à Justiça Eleitoral atuar de maneira séria e firme para evitar que desinformação maculasse liberdade de eleitores e eleitoras. Defesa da justiça eleitoral, maneira consistente demonstrou lisura das urnas. Ataque ao sistema eleitoral vem sendo realizado de maneira mais intensa há uma década no mundo todo, por grupos extremistas, antidemocráticos, criminosamente, desacreditar democracia, a partir desse ataque pretendem substituir voto popular por ditadura”, continuou.
