Coreia do Norte diz que testou míssil capaz de atingir território dos EUA
A Coreia do Norte afirmou nesta segunda-feira (31) que testou um míssil balístico de alcance intermediário que tem capacidade nuclear e pode atingir Guam, um território dos Estados Unidos no Oceano Pacífico, e que uma câmera acoplada no Hwasong-12 tirou fotos do espaço.
O lançamento de domingo (30) é o sétimo já realizado pelo país apenas em 2022 — e o mais significativo desde 2017 —, o que levanta temores de provocações maiores, como testes de mísseis nucleares e de longo alcance que representariam uma ameaça direta ao território continental dos EUA.
A KNCA, agência de notícias oficial da Coreia do Norte, afirmou que o objetivo do teste era verificar a precisão geral do Hwasong-12 e divulgou fotos que teriam sido tiradas de uma câmera acoplada na ogiva do míssil.
