Advogado é preso acusado de agredir hóspede de hotel em João Pessoa
Um advogado foi preso na noite desta quinta-feira, 6, acusado de agredir física e verbalmente uma cabeleireira de Caruaru, Pernambuco, que estava hospedada no mesmo flat que ele, em Tambaú. A mulher chamou a polícia depois que Demétrio de Almeida Brito bateu à porta de seu apartamento acusando-a de furto de uma caixa de som. Depois das agressões, ele saiu e a vítima acionou a Companhia Especializada em Apoio ao Turista (Ceatur) que efetuou a prisão e encaminhou o advogado à Central de Polícia.
A vítima afirmou que Demétrio estava alterado e parecia embriagado no momento em que a abordou.
A mulher está em João Pessoa acompanhando a mãe, uma octogenária que se submete a tratamento médico na capital da Paraíba. Já a vítima das agressões passou recentemente por uma cirurgia para retirar um nódulo do seio.
Além de pedir a prisão do advogado, ela solicitou uma medida protetiva contra ele e o acompanhamento da Patrulha Maria da Penha, que oferece acompanhamento para garantir proteção às mulheres em situação de violência que possuem medidas protetivas de urgência expedidas pela Justiça, com base na Lei Maria da Penha.
