João Azevêdo diz que pode endurecer medidas após aumento de casos de Covid
O governador João Azevêdo disse nesta quarta-feira (9) que, diante do cenário atual na Paraíba em relação aos casos de coronavírus, que estão aumentando significativamente, novas medidas mais drásticas poderão ser tomadas.
“Se houver necessidade de tomar alguma medida, tomaremos sem o menor problema, porque a intenção nossa é proteger e salvar vidas”, frisou o governador durante entrevista à rádio CBN.
João Azevêdo disse que quem define isso é o comportamento da sociedade perante a pandemia.
“Não temos intenção de endurecer qualquer que seja a medida ou fechar qualquer segmento. Quem define isso é o comportamento da sociedade, não é o governante. Entretanto, a situação, por exemplo, no Sertão, está extremamente preocupante com relação ao número de casos, número de óbitos e ocupação de leitos. Se houver necessidade de tomar alguma medida, tomaremos sem o menor problema”, enfatizou.
